FREEDOM, while not easily defined must at least mean, for a Disciple, the recognition that all people encounter God freely or not at all. We seek to promote the search for God's will for our lives by asserting that it "was for freedom that Christ has made us free." (Galatians 5:1)

DIVERSITY recognizes that we are human beings, not clones. Even as the world or the community or the love relationships we enter into would be boring beyond belief if we all looked, thought, acted the same way, even so the Church. We rejoice in the wide disparity in backgrounds, political views, cultural heritage, theologies. For truly, the Church recognized that in Christ "there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; but all are one in Him.
